I’m Lisa, founder of The Deep Cleaning Company.

Before starting this business, I spent over 25 years in the hospitality industry as a head chef, running busy kitchens and major events across New Zealand and Europe. In that world, high standards aren’t optional. You learn discipline, systems, hygiene, time management, and how to deliver quality under pressure every single day. Those skills translate directly into deep cleaning – the same precision, the same attention to detail, and the same commitment to doing things properly.

When the pandemic shifted my priorities, I wanted to build a business that reflected the values I’d lived by throughout my career: honesty, respect, quality, and looking after people. That’s how The Deep Cleaning Company began.

Deep cleaning is a profession to me. I care about technique, using the right products for the right surfaces, understanding materials, and staying up to date with what works best. I choose the lowest-tox, safest solutions possible without compromising results. I’m always learning and refining, because proper deep cleaning is skill and intention – not just effort.
